Listen and Feel: A 5-Element AcroYoga Playcation

Who: Lotsie Cash and Sarah Vosen

What: Listen and Feel: A 5 Element AcroYoga Playcation

Why: The beginning of Summer is good reason to celebrate! Lotsie and Sarah share a passion of enjoying life according to the elements and want to share those philosophies and activities with you. When you live according to the elements, you are living in tune with the seasons and what is happening around you. We all have ups and downs with emotions, energy, sleep, digestion, etc, come learn about why that is, in an experiential way, so that it resonates deep and provides you with tools to use at home. We will offer the 3 parts of AcroYoga with a 5 element twist; yoga and Thai massage to open the flow in your meridians and acrobatics that feel therapeutic! We will also explore these elements as they exist in nature with field trips to visit the surrounding beauty overlooking Seneca Lake, in upstate NY. Join us for a long weekend playcation filled with good fun, loving friends, delicious food!

FLY: Ithaca and Elmira are the closest airports if you're looking on flying in. We can help arrange a ride for you from the airport if you send us your itinerary.

BUS: Many busses come through Ithaca which is a fairly decent sized hub--it's especially easy to get to from New York City. Check out the Big Red Bus, Cornell Bus, and Shortline bus schedules for more info. We can also help you get from the bus station to the retreat center if we have your arrival information.

DRIVE: It is roughly a 4.5/5 hour drive from NYC, a 6/6.5 hour drive from Boston. Many people carpooled last year and either chipped in together on a rental or helped a car owner out with gas. The drive is really beautiful, especially during the late springtime. There is plenty of parking on site and is very safe. **If you are looking for a ride please post on the event page. We can also organize a google doc for ride shares if necessary**

Instructor Bios:

Sarah Vosen is an agile and articulate mind, with a natural grasp of symbolic systems and the conceptual relationships between well-being, behavior, emotion, and the physical body. Her rigorous study of Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture have synergized with her study of western nutrition and many forms of physical exercise, including yoga, AcroYoga, gymnastics, capoeira, and pilates. Sarah's training includes earning a Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College, a Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) certification (1000+ hours) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and the Levels 1 & 2 teacher trainings. More about Sarah can be found at

Lotsie Cash comes from the professional ballet world and found yoga initially as a supplemental form a physical and emotional health. She decided to complete a yoga teacher training in 2011 with Frog Lotus Yoga in Spain and her life was totally transformed. Soon after she disovered AcroYoga and soon after teaching yoga and AcroYoga took over as she transitioned way from life as a full time performer and more as a teacher and healer. She is a 500-hr yoga teacher, level 1 AcroYoga teacher, level 1 YogaSlacker and has completed various Thai massage courses included the 7-day Sarahpeutics training in LA with Sarah Vosen and Sarah Yovovich. Learning about 5-element theory has been life changing for Lotsie both as an individual and as a teacher/bodyworker. She is excited to team up with Sarah, one of her first 5-element teachers and lovely friend to offer this fun weekend in her home town!
