I’m a Licensed Acupuncturist by training, and a burnout coach at FRIED. The Burnout Recovery Group by experience.
As a helper, a healer, and an empath - I burnt out and remained unaware for, well, too long. After some time in burnout recovery, I discovered that my need to help others was both true to the core of who I am and was, AT THE SAME TIME, a coping mechanism that allowed me to shut down my own needs. I felt like I held value only when I was working in service of someone else. After being told by a coach that I needed to shut down my empathy, I knew I needed to find another path. I had been told for the last time that I needed to be someone I wasn't in order to be successful, fulfilled, and healthy. Now, I am in a continuous revival and renewal of who I am, but more importantly - what my needs are and how I can ensure that they are met. I have learned how much more powerful I am as a helping, loving force in this world when I truly take care of myself, and I want you to feel this too!

5 ELEMENT THAI MASSSAGE SESSIONS:
Sessions are tailored to your needs and goals. I specialize in alleviating chronic pain, injuries, headaches, fear, and anxiety. My work helps illuminate the connection between physical sensation and emotion, as a powerful method for increasing wellbeing, and inviting relaxation and joy.
Sessions employ a variety of modalities. These can include:
A particular specialty is speeding the recovery from broken bones -- this subtle work is amazingly powerful! Whether you want to shave months off your recovery by getting a session right away (in the first week) or you need to finally work out that nagging pain that won't quite resolve after months, my method has been proven time and again.
5 ELEMENT THAI MASSAGE:
We begin by discussing your goals and well-being, including information from your intake form. Then you are invited to lie on a soft mat on the floor, comfortably clothed, to relax. I tailor a blend of bodywork techniques in unique response to your goals, your physical body, and your energetic body. These techniques can include palming, rocking, harmonics, gentle joint mobilization and stretches, meridian work, and myofascial release. Afterwards, I will reflect to you what I found in your body, and may recommend physical, lifestyle, and/or nutritional supports for your continued healing and wellbeing. Any recommendations I make will be sent to you in email form after the session, with additional supports and resources as needed.
PRIVATE ACROYOGA INSTRUCTION:
Curious about AcroYoga, but don't want to jump into a group class or jam setting? Or do you want to get refinements catered to exactly support your practice? Want to conquer a particular skill that has eluded you?A private session is a wonderful way to learn, play, connect, focus, and get a great workout. Sessions most often are with a pair, but one-on-one sessions, trios, or two pairs are all wonderful ways to play and train.
PRENATAL & POSTPARTUM MASSAGE:
Turn up your glow with a prenatal or postpartum Thai massage. Thai massage provides deep relief and better energy, for a healthy pregnancy and postpartum journey. When your body relaxes, your internal organs function at their best, in turn supporting the complex and energy-intensive demands on a pregnant or nursing body, which in turn helps that body grow and nourish a healthy baby. Gentle stretches help prepare the body for birth, and also relieve postpartum tension patterns created during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and while caring for an infant. Give your child the best gift–a healthy and relaxed parent!
AcroYoga with parents and children is a magical way to explore a whole new world of playfulness, intimacy, communication, and teamwork. The glow and delight that families attain through this practice is unparalleled.This has become a particular passion of mine, since becoming a mama in February 2016. (Follow me on Instagram @acro.mama) I've been teaching children (gymnastics and mathematics, especially) since I was only 12 years old! In 2017 I was delighted to be asked to guest teach at the AcroYoga Family Teacher Training with the Yoga and Mindfulness Institute, and to film AcroYoga Family classes for Yoga Anytime. Sharing AcroYoga with families is a blissful homecoming for me. I will be delighted to facilitate connected play with you and your loved ones.
This is my own invention! In this new frontier of bodywork, I work on two receivers at once, you and your loved one (snuggle buddy, sibling, parent, child, romantic partner, acrobatic partner…), using your bodies to passively and mutually massage one another. Your loved one’s relaxation feeds your own, as together you enter a mutual rhythm of profoundly connected healing.
